We are a third-generation steel company based locally out of our family’s hometown of Calgary, a community that we are proud to serve. The family has been involved in the steel industry for over fifty years and 35 years ago started their own company. The family expanded upon their talents and passion for steel art design to accommodate an exciting niche in a growing market. Who knew steel art would be such a hot (no pun intended) commodity?
The steel art was initially quite labour-intensive; it took time and was arduous. Over the years, our steel work became more sophisticated with the availability of new steel materials, tooling, and techniques. We now have the luxury of computer-generated images and drawings which can be sent directly to CNC (computer numerical control) machines in our shop. While these machines were originally acquired for the structural and fabrication side of the business, it became apparent that we had another incredible opportunity at our fingertips.
Our early steel art became conversation pieces with loved ones eagerly inquiring, “Do you think you can make this for me?” Thus, what started as creating pieces for family & friends evolved into a booming business! Realizing that there was a market for another side of our passion was invigorating, and it remains invigorating to this day. With our creativity and drive, we knew we could achieve another method of long-lasting success while still serving others. Let us serve YOUR family with custom steel art to pass on for generations!
